Think Broadband

Fibre Compare are partnered with ThinkBroadband who we use to provide a precise list of ISP products available at your address. We send unique postal address information relating to your home address to ThinkBroadband and they provide us with a complete list of broadband providers, fibre networks (Openreach, City Fibre, Virgin Media, Alt-Nets) and technologies available at your home address (FTTC, FTTP/H, ADSL, G.Fast, DOCSIS, etc.). This is essential for our service to operate.

Experian

Fibre Compare are partnered with Experian who we use to provide address lookup functionality to allow customers to find and select their address using their home address and postcode. We use this qualified address information to send our query to ThinkBroadband during the availability check. This is essential for our service to operate.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics is a website tracking and analytics service provided by Google. Google uses the information gathered to track and monitor how our Service is used. Other Google services have access to this information. Google may utilise the information gathered to provide and personalise its own advertising network's adverts. This is essential for our service to operate.

AWIN

AWIN is an affiliate marketing network. Fibre Compare partners with AWIN to store cookies on end user devices that visit or use our site and track the progress of any customer orders with ISPs listed on our website. This is essential for our service to operate. Facebook (Meta)

Facebook is a web-based social media and networking platform. Facebook cookies are used to deliver targeted marketing on Facebook and measure effectiveness of ads for our website. This is essential for our service to operate. Issuing of reward, gift card or special offer

If you place an order for an ISP package that qualifies for a reward or special offer, we will use your personal information so that you can redeem that reward or special offer. For most voucher incentives the ISP will arrange management of the voucher through the voucher supplier (which in most cases is GiftCloud). Giftcloud capture the email addresses ISP sales when that ISP is running rewards or special offers. Giftcloud then issues the reward voucher to the customer directly.

Security of data

We will take reasonable storage precautions, both technically and operationally, to prevent loss or misuse of personal information that you share with us. However, no technique of electronic storage or data transfer via the internet is completely secure. Therefore, we cannot guarantee or promise the security of any information you submit us, and you send the information at your own risk.

We also have processes in place to deal with any suspected personal data breaches, and if we are legally obligated to do so, we will notify you and the supervisory authority.
